About this site
About Best AI for Writing Novels
This site is written by the people who make Feldar, an AI-assisted writing app for novelists. We put Feldar first, and we say so at the top of every page.
What this site is for
Choosing an AI tool for a novel is confusing. The tools range from apps where the AI only suggests, to services that generate a whole book, and their pricing pages are hard to compare. This site lays them out on the questions a novelist cares about: who writes the words, what the AI remembers, what happens to your text, and what a year costs.
How we check
Every fact about another company's tool comes from that company's own pricing page, feature page or help centre, checked between 5 and 8 November 2026 and linked under Sources. Where a page did not say something, we write "not stated". The placement on the spectrum and the order of the picks are our opinions. Nobody paid to be listed.
Corrections
Prices and plans change often. If you spot something out of date, email support@feldar.com and we will correct it and update the date on the page.
